Brand strategy & positioning
Who the brand is for, why the alternative loses, and what the company will stop doing to make that true. Written in language your own sales team would say out loud — a harder test than it sounds.
GLASS GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD is a Singapore brand and management consultancy. We work on the decisions a brand is actually making — who it is for, what it refuses, what its price signals, which segment it intends to win — and then on the identity and language that carry them. Registered in Singapore, working across Asia-Pacific.
Scope agreed per engagement — nothing bought on assumption
Positioning before identity, identity before rollout, and management consulting where a brand promise implies changes the organisation has not made yet. Reversing that order is the most expensive mistake in this field.
Who the brand is for, why the alternative loses, and what the company will stop doing to make that true. Written in language your own sales team would say out loud — a harder test than it sounds.
How the brands in a portfolio relate: what carries the parent name, what stands alone, what should be retired. Naming where a new name is genuinely needed, with trade mark risk flagged early.
The visible layer — verbal identity, key messages, visual direction — built on the decisions above rather than in place of them. Consistent from the pitch deck to the product to the ad.
A brand promise usually implies changes nobody has budgeted for: pricing, service levels, who owns the customer. We work on the operating decisions that make the promise deliverable.
Four stages, each ending in a document you can circulate and argue with. The first stage regularly changes what the client thought the project was.
Customer and lost-deal interviews, the sales team’s real objections, and the buying reason in the customer’s own words. It is rarely the reason on the website.
One page: who it is for, what it replaces, why the alternative loses, and what the company stops doing. If it does not exclude anyone, it is not a position — it is a description.
Verbal identity, key messages, naming where needed and visual direction — all traceable back to a decision in stage two rather than to a taste preference.
Guidelines short enough to be read, briefing sessions for the people who use them daily, and a governance rule for who decides an exception. This is the stage most brand projects skip.
Illustrative structure — not a client engagement
Positioning before identity, identity before rollout, and management consulting where a brand promise implies changes the organisation has not made yet. Reversing that order is the most expensive mistake in this field.
Firms that sell expertise, where the brand has to do the work of a reputation that has not been built yet — and where everyone insists their differentiator is their people.
Products entering a category the buyer already has a mental model for, where positioning against that model matters more than any feature list.
Where the brand is a substantial part of what the customer is actually paying for, and price and packaging are positioning statements whether you intend them to be or not.
Several brands sharing a market, a budget and sometimes a customer, with nobody having decided which one should win which segment.
A brand is not what you say about yourself. It is the shortest explanation a customer gives someone else for choosing you — and if you have not decided what that sentence is, they will make one up.
GLASS GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in the Republic of Singapore and directed by Antonina Dzamashvili.
The company combines brand consultancy with the management consulting that makes brand decisions stick. That combination is deliberate: a positioning nobody is resourced to deliver is an expensive document, and we would rather not produce one.
Everything on this page can be checked against ACRA’s public records. The UEN, the registered office and the director are printed below and repeated in the legal notice.
No. We do the decisions and the language, and we direct the visual work. If a project is purely execution — you already know your position and need artwork — a design studio is the cheaper and better address, and we will say so.
One page. Who it is for, what it replaces, why the alternative loses, and what the company stops doing. If it runs to forty slides, nobody in the organisation will ever apply it.
No, and be careful with anyone who does. What we guarantee is that every recommendation traces back to evidence we collected and to a decision you signed off on — so it can be argued with rather than merely believed.
We flag trade mark risk early and structure naming work around it. Clearing a name is a legal act and needs a qualified trade mark attorney — we will tell you when to bring one in, which is usually earlier than people expect.
A brand engagement typically runs six to twelve weeks from first interview to handed-over guidelines, depending on how quickly we get access to customers. The interviews are the critical path, not the design.
We are registered in Singapore and work across Asia-Pacific, in English.
Not legal advice. Naming and brand architecture work touches trade mark law. We identify risk and structure the work to reduce it, but we do not provide legal advice and we do not clear marks. A qualified trade mark attorney should conduct searches and clearance before a name is adopted or filed.
No guaranteed outcomes. Nothing on this website is a promise of commercial results. Market response depends on execution, competition, pricing and timing, most of which sit outside a consultancy’s control.
Third-party marks. Any third-party names or marks mentioned in the course of our work remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Send us the sentence your sales team uses when a prospect asks why you and not the other one. If that sentence is hard to write down, you have found the project.
